EBAY SUBTITLE - To subtitle or not?
 

Hi Guys,

I'd appreciate some advice on Ebay Subtitles on listings .

Do you always pay extra for one and whats your reasoning behind adding one or not?

Do you always relate it to the product your selling or use the space to be more generalised such as Xmas gift, childs present etc ??

Just need to know if i'm missing a trick by not paying the extra £1.05 not adding one and the best way to make use of them?

Its a waste of money. Most buyers dont care to read the subtitles. Just another say for eBay to pinch more money from sellers IMO. Just like the "bold font" title option.

Do you also use eBay to purchase items? If so, does the subtitle really draw your attention?

Having the proper keywords in the title is more a determining factor.

I use eBay alot to also buy things and rarely look at the subtitle. I would imagine most buyers would be drawn to the title + price of item.

When selling, the only time I use the subtitle option is when its free :p. I don't see it being a major plus or minus in selling activity.

thanks for those updates. I didn't know if the sub title triggered the ebay search engine aswell ... i agree i never look at the sub-titles.
