My favorite is still the scammer who bought the item for 5,500.00.
Got it, filed not as described.
Ask him to return it.
Got it back, it was a total piece of crap junk, cracked, chipped useless garbage.
I wrote him and told him he did a bait and switch.
He said no, this is one you sent me.
What he did not know is I video all items over 200+ range from wrapping, cleaning, packing, boxing, taping and even this one was sat on my porch within minutes the post office guy shows up and picks up the box. All on video all on timer etc.
I told him he has one more change to fix this issue as this is stealing.
He told me to kiss off.
This was on my real account so I took action and called his local sheriff to report this. They said they did not handle ebay cases like this.
I told him ok, no problem, I will be calling Channel 6 news and ask them to do a story on this and let them know you would not look into a person who broke the law. They took my name info etc.
One hour later I got a call from the sheriffs office asking me if I could send them all the details. When I told them I also had a video of it being boxed, mailed etc and a video of me opening what he returned he said, wow, send that over also.
I ended up with my item and my money back and the sheriff told me they filed theft and fraud charges on the scammer.
He thought he was going to pull this one off and he did not. |
