Hello all!

I recently discovered that the PayPal account linked to my eBay account was limited because of the number of complaints/disputes I started about one specific webshop. So my PayPal limitation was linked to my buying behavior.

My eBay account is still active, and I have received a couple of emails from eBay saying why I don't start selling, that it has been a year etc. I never had problems as a seller.

I created my first PayPal + eBay stealth account a while ago, and it's still running :).

So my question is:

- Should I create a new PayPal account, and link it to my previous eBay account? Or will my eBay account be banned if I do that?

That account is kinda strong (100 items/2,5k per month, 200 votes feedback, 100% positive), while my eBay stealth is a pathetic noob account with 10 items/500 per month and only 6 votes :s.


I just logged into my eBay account (first one), and I checked my PayPal account, which I thought I linked... but guess what...

NO PAYPAL IS LINKED TO MY EBAY

I have created a new PayPal account, but the PayPal stealth account has different information (name and such) as my eBay account. I can not create a PayPal account with the same information as my real eBay account because I already did that once, and that PP account is limited.

So my question is:

- Should I change the information (name, address, email) of my eBay account and make it the same as my new PayPal stealth account?

OR

- Should I leave my eBay account as it is (with my real info), and just use the PayPal account to receive the payments (so I am not linking it to my eBay in this case).

Whichever ebay accounts have been used with that paypal are linked. It doesn't matter if you physically linked them or not. If the accounts have ever been associated in any way, then consider them limited as well, because as soon as you start up activity and use a different paypal, it'll get limited.

So yes, I would open new ebay and paypals. Whenever one is limited the other is also toast.

But why is my eBay account still active then? In fact, they even reinstated my privileges to sell online... And they keep sending me emails that I can start again (almost 4-5 months after my PayPal ban)
