Opening a Ebay Store?
 

Hi everyone! I was planning an opening an ebay store. The ebay account is a year old with few positive feedback. I was wanting to know if it safe to open an ebay store so I could sell more items. Right now I can sell 10 or $1000 per month. It is a stealth account so I haven't called ebay for a selling limit increase. What is required in order to open a ebay store? I know they require a credit card on file. So since this is a stealth account is it possible to use a vanilla gift card and use that credit card number on file? Paypal is already verified. Or is it possible to use paypal to make subscription payment instead linking a credit card. Thank you everyone!

The limits still will apply even when you open the store.

Vanilla visa will work fine from when I had stores open.

Hi @cjmixer. Did you recently use vanilla visa to open a store? For the store im opening so I could list more. I was planning on purchasing the basic which you can list 150 listings. But you said that the selling limits apply. I mean if I get to sell 10 every month then there no point of me paying the subscription fee and not get to sell 150 listings. Could you please let me know. Thank you!

Limits will still apply even if you open a store.

If your current limits are 10, then they will be 10 even after you open the store.

They send those emails to everyone.

But vanilla visa should be fine to open a store.
