Asking buyers if interested in selling old cell phones
 

What I mean is that I know some ebay sellers that sell phones will often times ask their buyers something along the lines of. hey you bought a phone from me, I was wondering if you would be interested in selling your old phone to me. I will even pay for shipping.

I sell about 50 to 60 phones a month but am not entirely sure how to go about this method. I know in ebay's rules it states buying and selling out of ebay this way is against the rules However obviously peopel are getting around them. I was wondering if I send 60 messages a month to all my buyers through ebay messanger requesting this will I get flagged?, banned, anything at all?. or is it simply not really enforced on power sellers and such.

Or am I going about this wrong?. Are you suppose to not do this within the ebay messenger and rather send directly to the email through paypal and create a sort of email list??. Does anyone do this with any Items. What is your success. What are your failures?. How does it work exactly for the most optimal results?. Thanks.

The problem comes when u send an email to someone that is uptight andthinks they are a junior g agent and rats u out to ebay

I was thinking about this but the girl who gave me this method has 25 thousand sells and has contacted almost all of them. She's not telling me how she goes about it. So they are getting away with it.

My first account I had all real info I had his purchase $2000 in product the day before the MC999 ,

So I got on emailed every customer I had 100% feedback and got rid if everything in 3 days was selling 3,5 ,7 pieces at a time


I usually get $50-70 for each but wanted to get my money plus small profit so just did a discount marketing letter, now I download all customer info it's great to have name, address email positive negative feedback what product how was it shipped all under sales manager file section

I was able to contact the girl and get some more info. She says if you are not selling stuff all the time you can msg them directly through ebay messenger but with her selling 30 thousand a week she said she has an automated email system when a buyer payed for the item. How in the world do you do that I wonder . ??

also I am confused What do you mean by "had his" Who are you talking about?. Suspended for what, was the mistake preventable?. 2000 from emailing people alone?.

What was the method you used. Did you make a mailing list?.

I would email them directly using their email provided in Paypal.

I used own a restaurant and banquet hall and bad location not much traffic

Build a list of emails,and do email marketing, i do this, and also i used to use that idea i don't know it works or not any more embed a youtube video in your listing ebay cant catch videos :)
