Old Username
 

I had an old username that I changed once it became suspended. For 3 months, I would try to register this name and it would appear to be taken. Now, it is back open for anyone to register. Would it be risky to try to switch to this name?

Yes. It would be risky.

A visual inspection could have ebay digging further.

I just searched ebay user "stealth" and it was only registered in 2012 :s

Back open means it was either changed or banned.

Seriously unless the name was signifacant to yourself and you want no one else to use it then I wouldnt even bother. If its the name of your business outside of ebay and you want it taking off the ebay market then fair enough, create a buyers stealth account and take it, then leave it. Theres no point in trying to trade with an old banned account, especially if its signifcant to you which might link you.
