Spares or Repairs buyer open SNAD
 

Hello Everyone

Well i woke up today and was faced with a predicament, I sold an item two weeks ago as spares or repairs to build up my Stealth account and today morning the buy has opened as SNAD and wants to return the item. It clearly said no returns but the Buyer is saying the Serial number is tampered with. Should i refund his money and take the hit or should I escalate and see if i win the dispute ?

If you feel taking a chance to have your account suspended or subject to close scrutiny then go ahead. To me this is just as big a problem as calling EB. It's not worth it to me for all I have invested in my accounts both time and financially.

I would take the hit - unfortunately you have a slim chance of getting ebay on your side.

For parts or repair items are kinda risky for this reason - people always want a refund even if you explicitly say that it is not available.

What is the amount involved OP?

Just because you said no returns doesnt mean that eB will honour your stipulation...sadly.

£80 I guess taking the hit is the best thing as my 90 days is nearly over

What exact hit are you taking?

The ONLY thing you are losing is what you paid to ship the item.
