Internet Explorer 11, How I blocked it is IE settings.
 

I just had an update and saw that Internet Explorer 11 was installed and found that ebay was on the list as well as many more sites it shows the content to be "eBayISAPI.dII" I blocked it by following the steps down below...

Will this cause any red flags with ebay?




How Tracking Protection helps protect your privacy


Tracking Protection helps prevent your browsing info being sent to third-party content providers on sites you visit by blocking content from those providers. This helps keep your browsing activity more private. To turn on Tracking Protection, you need to install a Tracking Protection List. Think of a Tracking Protection List as a “do not call” list. Internet Explorer blocks any third–party content from sites on the list, and limits the info that those third–party sites can collect about you.


To add Tracking Protection Lists


1.Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.


2.Go to the Internet Explorer Gallery, and pick a Tracking Protection List you want to install.


3.Tap or click Add, and then tap or click Add List again to install it.


Installing at least one Tracking Protection List turns on Tracking Protection. You can always add more lists by visiting the Internet Explorer Gallery.

To remove or turn off a Tracking Protection List

1.Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.


2.Click the Tools button Tools, point to Safety, and then do one of the following:

•Click Turn on Tracking Protection.


•Click Turn off Tracking Protection.


Note

Turning on Tracking Protection helps keep your browsing activity more private, but it might also limit the content that you're able to see on some sites. You can choose to exempt some sites from Tracking Protection by clicking the Tracking Protection icon in the address bar, which will let you to see content that was previously blocked.

I wouldn't touch IE with a 100ft poll.

remove it and install Mozilla Firefox. best for eBay...

Thank you Arkimidsk, I do have Firefox installed as well are there settings that are desired to be more stealthy?

MM78 Can you add more to it then the 100ft pole comment? maybe like what is best to run and why? Specifics are always preferred because it helps us ignorant ones learn.
