just wanted to thank everyone on this forum as i have hit my first powerseller ebay stealth account. i dont think it will be long lived tho as paypal just sent me their dreaded "ssn request" and there is no way in hell im giving my ein

Good job, why not give an EIN , you don't have to keep selling this year , but I don't think they will let that go anymore , why ruin a powerseller account over an EIN takes 2 min to get and free

Sorry to be the contrarian. But for stealth purposes. Nobody still knows how the IRS is going to treat individuals making multiple EIN's. Dmshark I will say you are courageous for doing so. It is uncharted waters. Creating a single EIN for you own account in your name or a variation of it is one thing. Creating multiple one for stealth purposes with the 1099k having the **** name on the forum filed with the IRS. I would talk to an accountant before doing anything.

That is true the accounts that I created the EIN for do have my real Name.

That's the one piece of info that won't link u directly. I pretty much use my real name on 80% or my accoubts than 10% variation and jus 10% a stealth name

I know many are against this but I'm extremely careful with everything else and even had Manuel reviews before on 2 accounts with my real name at the same time

As long as the address and phone are different than the suspended account the at least in my experience , I have so many accounts using my real name

But stick to whatever method you have been doing

And your right to nothing that special about a power selling account

My goal is to have enough accounts that they all look like novice accounts , so I don't add An EIN to every account just a few out of many .

Big accounts to me are for short term , they attract unwanted attention an they are the ones that got most of is here in the first place.

But this time next year I should be good in 3 accounts a day now , and only ilising one big account I put the others to bed for the time being

Not something we need to worry about in the UK

It is a way to get around the SSN in the US. You can compare it (very loosely) our NI numbers.

Congratulations on the power seller status. Use the EIN you have a good account. I don't know if you can get another one or not though, if that's what you are worried about.

Not always. But if you have the patience and the intellect to try to figure out a way. More often than not as the old saying goes. "If there is a will there is a way".

I don't want to blow wind up my own a=se but I have had a top rated power seller account for the last 12 months.

It is very possible to have a very successful stealth eb account if you just think outside the box and not follow the guide word for work.


Do things that eb would not expect.

i have been away from my computer for some time. Thanks for all the love everyone. my only concern with the whole EIN thing is that with ebay customers sucking so much. If i get 2 or 3 dumba$$ customers who leave a bad feedback rating and ruin my account, now when i start a new account i can no longer use the EIN. I guess its just the name of the game selling on ebay. decisions decisions

For EIN you need USA LLC so create one and then you can add it to your paypal account. But you also need registered agent services every year to keep your LLC afloat. I think New Mexico is a good place to start an LLC for outside USA users. Avoid Delaware and Nevada.

But i do agree if some customers give bad feedback you account may be downgraded. Ebay is great
