Buyer Started Claim and Now Won't Respond

I shipped without tracking and the buyer started a case for item not received. It's now been almost 2 weeks since he started the case and he's not responding to any of messages. I have feeling he's since received them item. The case status is now "case awaits other members' responses" (buyer). Do I win the case if the buyer never responds?

I'm planning to request to have my listings limits increased tomorrow so I think I'm just going to refund him either way...

Welcome to the forum. Sorry I do not know the proper answer for your question. I wouldn't think the buyer would have a 2 week time frame to answer you before you would win the case. That doesn't make sense. Not only that I don't think there is a person here that would ship anything without tracking.

What I can tell you is that the probability of receiving a favorable answer to a limit increase is not likely with an open case.
Secondly it is strongly advised not to call eb for most anything this being one has the most probability to cause you the greatest harm. The total loss of the account unless you are prepared to provide eb with a lot of documentation that 99% of us could not stand to provide.

Sounds like he played you well and knew that since there was no tracking, you would lose the item.

I wouldnt ask for an increase with this on the account.

It might not work in your favor.

Sound like he/she received the package and now doesn't have time or the person is too lazy to respond to your case. Everything is good, don't worry. Make sure the status of the case is always: "awaiting buyers action". Then it will be automatically closed in 30 days.

No News - Good News :)
