Destroying Entropay Cards
 

If I pay for something using an Entropay Card ,eg EBay Fees, how quickly can I destroy the card?

For example, I notice if I pay for something on the 1st of the month, the balance of the card reduces to reflect the amount immediately, however the statement is only updated say on the 5th to reflect the transaction.

If I destroyed the card say on the 2nd or 3rd, would the transaction still take place, or would it be void?

The reason I am asking is I don't want cards open for longer than they have to, as I may need many cards across all accounts. And having too many open at the same time does raise security flags with Entropay.

Wait until the transaction shows UP on the card statement before destroying

The slight issue I have is that it takes about 4-5 days to appear.

As an EBay invoice appears on the 15th approx, this means I have to pay fees in a window of approx 15-16 days before Paypal would grab the funds at the start of the next month. (The 1st to the 3rd approx)

So if multiple stealths are in operation this means creating quite a few Entropay Cards during this period which have to be open for 5 days approx until the statement shows.

I am trying to streamline paying fees with out having too many card open at the same time.

I am still experimenting, but it does appear to be a bit of a bottleneck.

Would it not streamline things in a more effective manner if you just leave enough funds in PP to pay the fees. Cuts out Entro all together.

I hardly ever use my entro cards unless I want to buy something. Always use PP balance for fees and refunds

Yes certainly.

I am thinking about new stealth accounts where there are 21 day holds and fees may need to be paid from cards rather than sales that are reflected in a PP balance.

Mulling a few things over.....
