Opening new account during the holidays
 

Do you think it's a good idea to try and open up a stealth account during the holidays. I wonder what percentage is being screened now. I would imagine it's about 90-100% of all new accounts

If u have experience it's easy but if u only been making them couple months than chances are not to good to open the account now and sell on it for Xmas

Never going to be those numbers. They don't have the labor. I can't guess what but not those. On the other hand you might be able to fly under the radar this time of year too. It's always a crap shoot. Just go for it. I don't know how you will be able to use it safely though in the short time till Christmas. Good luck.

I did stealth sold items first day of opening account , didnt wait .my limits are 10/1,000 down to my last 2 items , been less than 2 weeks old.

Its one month. Personally, I am opening some buyer accounts that I will convert over later. Sometime in Jan or Feb. I am not going to try to sell anything on any accounts without selling history until second week of Jan or something like that.

From my own experience ebay isn't so much a problem and wouldn't have an issue creating new accounts around this time of year. For me though, Amazon is a different issue and I personally wouldn't create a stealth account on Amazon this time of year. I know others wouldn't think twice about it but that's just my personal standing.
