Possible to link via email?

Hi guys

I stumbled across something in error :heh:

Usually when I get a question asked on ebay I log into the account and reply to questions.

A few days ago I was really tired as I had been working 18/19 hours a day!

I received a question, i checked it on my iphone and replied to the mail through the mail app.

When I woke up I found a reply which confused me as I couldnt even remember replying to it :heh::s

Anyway, I was wondering if you have a few email address' setup on the mail app and you respond to ebay questions from different ebay accounts, can you be linked?

If you phone was on a data plan, the IP address will even be different, but if it was on Wifi, you may be lucky that the same IP address was used. It is very unlikely that one occurrence may even cause an alarm. Just remember, THINK and BE CAREFUL, in stealth business, there is no room for errors.

Dangerous - yes, linking can be done via e-mail. Is 1 time killer? Unlikely BUT you never know with eB....sadly...

Ohhh

Best stop then. Last few days been using it. But only used it on one account.

Wont use it on any other.

Its so difficult to log into accounts and reply to single questions

It all depends on which email client you are replying though.

You can do this with gmail so long as you are replying thought he email addresses linked to that eBay account. EB will not see your IP address though gmail

They would if they could, but gmail hides it from them they all EB sees is the gmail serves IP address.

No worries, just make sure beacons and images are off, and don't click any links.
