OK to Change the Default User ID Given?
 

On a stealth in which I created mid-October, I began my first listing this week.

Actually, the first listing was 2 weeks after account creation then received the call in restriction, got limits raised and haven't listed again until recently.

Well, what about the user i.d. eB assigns the account? Is it okay to change that without any problems or worries?

And if I left it the way it is, will that that be better than changing the default registered user ID?

I have been leaving it default without any issues - as ebay assigned you it :)

Makes life easier than trying to pull another user name out of your @ss

But there is no foreseeable reason why it would hurt you. Unless you do not do stealth protocol while changing it :p

No issues with it that I have ever come across, but 95% of the time I just leave it as default.

Only problem i see with this is if you change it after you've dealt with some restrictions, limitations and so on, could be sign you are trying to cover up and may be not in your favor if you are being checked again?

If it isn't broke, don't bother fixing it - I keep CHANGES to a minimum on any account I operate...ID makes no difference...product is what counts :thumb:
