Default Ebay Seller Dashboard

HI:
On the new Seller Dashboard--they actually tell you your status, as in how many listing Violations you are allowed/ versus how many you have had??

Heres an example:

Maximum policy violations within the last 60 days (as of 05/20/08) 7 Your Level 0

I am only allowed 4 violations in a 60 day period, is there a way to raise it?

imjustme, just click on details where you see your feedback %

Sounds like the best thing to do is to have a variety, that way they dont hit 5 auctions at a time.
This way you can bring the account to the brink of suspension and not get all the violations at once.
Avoiding the ebay suspension is a true art.

If they say 4 violations, does that mean 4 listings? Or 4 times 50 listings pulled? :D

HI: The Seller Dashboard is on the main My Ebay page to the right at the top--has gold/silver or green or red buttons.... Its new.

If you click on Policy Compliance--it will state your Power seller level-then the number of violations allowed...

Ok, Heres a Screen shot from one of my accts:

Same here. Either it only shows for PowerSellers or it only shows if you've had violations in the past.

I've had 15 violations in the past on 3 ebay country sites. I am a powerseller on that account. It still doesn't show anything. It would be good to know.

Dashboard is only giving me 30-day DSR scores for accounts that once were or currently are powersellers. The rest only 12-month scores.

On one account the 12-month DSR is below average but in recent months, it is above average. Yet, dashboard says best match scores are getting marked down.

No flash cookies from the dashboard yet, either.

Default Ebay Seller Dashboard

I've noticed this is only visible on my power seller accounts- I find it really good as it lets me see how many policy violations i have commited and when they expire- so i can effectively avoid suspension!

Am i right in saying this feature only seems to be on the power seller accounts?

Oh sorry mate, i see what you mean now. Yes.. the alert thing on a normal account in my messages.

That's not the same though, it's no where near as good as the one on a powerseller account. I am not sure if you have any powerseller accounts but there is a dashboard that you can click and it tells you exactly what level you are performing at.. it gives you levels like good, ok, poor, FAILING! lol.. when it gets to failing one more and you get suspended.

With a normal account its guess work, you dont know when they'll suspend you are where you are on their sytem..

HI:
The Level of PS Status--also gives you "how many" Violations you are allowed in any 60 day period.. I havent "tested" this recently to the limit-- but they USED TO--
just take your PS status for 30 days..
Nowadays --Im sure theyre suspending..

Interesting- thanks for that mate! It did seem like i was able to get away with a bit more on the power seller accounts. But i always thought that may have been because i had those warning levels on there so could take it to the limit and knew when to stop abusing the sytem

With a standard account its hard to tell where you are on that gauge, so i usually stop as soon as i get a 1 or 2 violations.

THere are benefits to power seller status afterall then :D

In my experience, they don't care about the violations at all. If they want to, they will suspend you. I've had one account get 8 violations when it was allowed 5 and didn't get suspended. Another account was allowed 3, got 1 and got suspended.

I guess they dont want to suspend me then :D what do you think makes them want to suspend you?

I presume something like undpaid fees or a red flag raised for other reasons?
