Last month, for a certain item, i was like #5 in the best match, but my selling limits ran out so the item sold out. I sold like 300 on that particular listing.

I relisted it today, and now im like all the way on page 10...isnt that ridic?? Im also Top Rated this month!!

Never let a popular listing sell out, when you're left on your last item, increase the price to something ridiculous until you have more in stock.

Dumb question. But how do you know where you land for best match and how do you improve your best match rating

Move now is to scout out your competitors and try to retool your listings and experiment to move up - there is no set way. Can only try and push - if you find something, please report back. Best of luck

If your on page 10 only way is to have cheapest price for when people view by price. Fast and free helps too. Or a unique item title, check out google trends to find one.

Sometimes with eBay, you can do everything right and STILL get buried in their search listings. Being top rated helps, offering free shipping and 1-day handling does too. Writing a great listing can make all the difference in the world. They like content - not just sales content, but anything reasonably related.

For instance, if you were selling catnip, then you might write a couple of paragraphs about catnip, including its scientific name, history, interesting facts, etc. No, it does NOT directly relate to making the sale, but search engines like content and I cannot imagine the Cassini is any different.

I would personally be smart and break even and kill the competition, get onto page 1 and then slowly increase the price until I'm into the top 10 then provide service that no one else can....free gifts are good but be careful what you give as a free gift!!

Set a price that even if you make £1 loss - once you're on page 1 who cares? That's just me though. Marketing your product costs!
