Can eBay Link you to old account based of the camera?
 

Is it Safe to use the same camera to take new pictures?

The camera is Sony but no WiFi or GPS info on it. Data of the pictures only shows date of the picture was taken and make and model of the camera and some other setting of the camera while picture was taken.


I am taking new pictures with the SAME camera and upload them directly into eBay.

Is it safe or I get link if I use same camera? again, I am taking new pics.

I heard if I remove date eBay may get suspicious and ask for ID. Because I am trying to call next month for selling increase limit. Account is under real name and legit address.

Need to removed EXIF data and use different backgrounds.

Heard where? because it sounds like an extreme stretch. If it was on this forum then you need to be sure it was posted by someone that's been on here for a while.

I've used pictures that have been cleaned across multiple accounts and yet to have an issue.

I second MM78, remove the data & list your items. Make sure to get different pictures & change the surrounding a bit as well for different accounts

Not something I have heard of. But definitely use different backgrounds. If maybe change up hosting sites if you use them. Photobucket, image shack, etc.

More than anything I would be careful about sizing and backgrounds. Even though I use different backgrounds for each account I have. I also try to use different image sizes when I edit them. Also make sure to use different photo sites. I usually like to have pics below the descriptions.

Pictures can be a link - change them up and strip them of info

How do you strip photos of info?

I just take them with my iphone and upload them, same way, different photo, everytime.
