sent package
 

I sent a package to an person that bought an item from me, they left him a notice to pick up item at post office , its been 10 days now he has 20 days left to pick it up, I called him and it says number is no longer in service, also left him 2 messages, the value of that package is alot , I also called his post office , can I call that post office before the time is up before they send it back and tell them to send it to my warehouse address , thank you

The Post Office is supposed to follow the standardized Notice Left procedure found here...

After 30 days, it will be returned to the address on the Return Label. You may be able to speak to the local PO of the recipients address to let them know the correct address.

I assume you are asking this b/c the Return Address you used is a stealth address and not your warehouse? Do you have access to the Return Address you used?

Hmmmm.... Good question. I don't think the po has a reroute service. You could tell them you moved from the place in the return address. But then they might require you to fill out a change of address form. I would try calling the po that has the package and ask them very nicely if they would correct the return address.

Go online, pay the 1.00 fee with usps, forward all mail from whatever address is listed on package to where you want it delivered. It will take effect immediately, thus you not needing to call anyone. Just wait and it will forward back to you, if you follow them steps. Hope that helped
