Re: DSRs killed over christmas
Yes always have this issue,
its inevitable had one person open a case on Christmas DAY!!! and a negative fb on Christmas Eve.
ive learnt a lot about DSRS lately,
best thing to do is:
sell small low value items, helping protect your feedback percentage AND your DSR's
we sell things that are pre packed, easy and fast to send, and never get any returns on.
without these our account would be dead.
if you ever see a case has been escalated close it immediately,
just 5 of 6 of these can get your account closed.
close before ebay do and you won't get a bad mark.
but the biggest thing ive learnt is to ALWAYS have the items in stock, send anything over £10 recorded as then they can't argue.
leave auto fb (it encourages people to leave it for you without having to message each and every buyer)
sell lots of low value easy to send items to protect your DSR's
always close escalated cases.
identify your problem buyers and make sure when they message you etc you are there to answer their moany arse questions as it is always in between messages when they leave bad fb.
if you hit them back straight away they don't start wondering over to the leave bad fb section...
personally when i have a problem buyer i give them above and beyond i just think ok so i lose £10 on this, but i keep my power seller status and save £250+ in savings for being a power-seller.
you have to balance that.
i don't claim to be an expert on this, just sharing experiences to try and help others.
we have been doing this for 5 years and just started getting it right our self's.
Dazzawoo.
