Buying Items with a Credit Card

Years ago when I used my legit Paypal Account, I added an Interest Free Credit Card from Visa to buy some purchases off EBay to resell.

This was a great way to invest in stock without incurring any interest.

Now of course, I cannot do this because of the Billing Address would be seen on a stealth PP account.

However.....

Could I do the same now but...

Add funds to an Entropay Card from an Interest Free Credit Card? The Entropay card could then be used to fund purchases.

I guess the big question is, would funding an Entropay card in this way incur interest charges on the Credit Card? Would the transaction be classed as a purchase and be therefore interest free?

This is a big question for me as it could really help me out.

Your questions goes several paths..

1) SInce your address is not the same, you will most likely have to set up a PO and then have items shipped to it.

2) Yes you can pay entropay using your card. But I am unsure how it gets charged. Entropay charges a % that is separate from the deposit amount. One may be counted as a purchase, or both may, I am not sure.

I don't know the answer for certain, but Entropay is not likely doing this for free and unless it is treated as a cash advance (which is HUGELY expensive) they would have to pay fees to your credit card issuer (I'm guessing 1.5%). So, if you bought $1,000 worth of merchandise, they would have to pay maybe $15. To make...

you know what? I decided to Google "Entropay Fees", so this is from their website:

Load an EntroPay card from a personal credit or debit card 4.95% - so, in the example above, they would charge you 4.95% of the transaction or $49.50.

Yes I have just experimented with this, and it is indeed 4.95%.

Food for thought anyway.

Entropay has the fee for transfer from credit card source.

You would ONLY incur interest charges on your MAIN credit card if you do not pay the balance by the balance due date (statement received in mail).
