Should I buy a few items as well as selling too?
 

I opened a new account and have limit. Account is legit and under under real address and real name.

I currently sell a few items. zero feedback. I maybe try to call when I have around 20 selling FB to raise the limit. Should I buy some random stuff too to prove that my address is real and this account is both buying and selling account?

I means, will it help to have some buying FB too as well has some selling FB when you trying to call to raise the limit?

I am just trying to proof to eBay my address is real so I try to void sending them ID card.

I usually go that route. Not sure if it makes a difference once you have sold items. However, I usually try to get a few buying feeds before I begin selling.

It is always advisable to have some history & to be as normal as can be

So if I just open a stealth account, and i want to buy a few things as a buyer(witch i think it's better to start with),what address should i use for the receive address.
(as my actual address is linked to my old suspended account)? i mean i registered the stealth account under an address i don't have any access. I know

i can not input any addresses that would link to my old account.

I am just confused now

.If without any feedback,can i just start off selling something less risky that will be ok ?

If you don't have access to the address then there is no point in buying anything. Sell low risk items and you should be fine.

Calling Ebay is not a good idea. Specially if this is your
First time listing and new less than 3 month old ac
.ebay will ask for many many doc.including
Invoice, ID and other stuff. Just let some time pass by, ebay will randomly
Increase your limit.

You need to have access to an address.

Why is that a problem? You get a PO Box if needed.

When you start selling full time, what are you going to do about returns?

Yep you need an address that you have access too. This could be a friend,family, USPS po box, ups store box...anything just about. Aslong as address has not been used before.


And besides, tell me there is something you would like to purchase on ebay?!

Don't call OP - sell to max limit and let the increase come naturally

during my ramp up phase, when i have a new account sitting, i will log on and bid on things i wont win, like $50 on a new ipad. dow this a few times over a a few months., then when i start selling, i've noticed I get nice jumps on limits.
