Google Checkout - Payment Before Verified?
 

Can you receive a payment through Google Checkout before you're verified? Does it work like Paypal in that you can receive payments, it's just that you can't *access* them until you have added your email address to the account? Or will it just refuse the payment and go back to the buyer?

I would if I could, but it's been 3 days now and still no deposits to verify. How were you able to do everything at the same time? Also, is there only one spot for a phone number? I thought there was a phone number option in the private area as well but now I can't find it or how to get at it if it's there. GCO public section's Phone number is optional.

it does take 3 to 4 days to get the first deposit (my bank) , i don't know about the other bank.
then you have to specify the return policy and refund in your profile page ,so you can get protected from any fraud.

Already mentioned this in another thread, but this is my current policy:

"Due to the unique nature of our items and our relationship with clients, all items are sold as is. There are no refunds or returns. Exchanges only on request for equal or lesser value, subject to availability and seller's option."

Should that cover any protection through GCO in the event of problems? Never hurts to get another opinion.
