| | Are you a Part/Full-Time eBay seller? I'm a part-time seller, mainly doing this to pay down my 80k student loan >_>.
Are any of you guys full-time sellers? It seems very stressful selling on eBay, especially with stealth accounts. Kudos to you full-time sellers! |

I'm a seller part time aswell and yes it can be stressful at times it still pans out well and I've learned so much on here reading and asking questions to my fellow members that have guided me through some real pickles at times and I'm still learning we all are here to help one another:humble: |

Re: Are you a Part/Full-Time eBay seller? Just dabble in it - part-time |
| KDavis | 01-08-2014 03:05 PM | Re: Are you a Part/Full-Time eBay seller? Part Time. I'm a student the other part of the time. I don't have any loans because I'm a scholarship kid, but I plan on going to law school after undergrad and I know I need loans for that! |

| gonzoman | 01-09-2014 12:17 AM | Re: Are you a Part/Full-Time eBay seller? I used to be a full time. Then eBay shut me down,
so I had to find other places to sell. In a way, as
much as I was devastated about losing a good 4 years
account, it did good to me in so many ways, even though
I am still struggling because building stealth takes time.
I think after recovering from all this mess I will have to
actually thank ebay for helping me expand in different ways,
including creating my own website soon (thanks to SFB),
selling on amazon, find a local bazaar which goes pretty good so far,
and targeting new products I could sell on etsy, and of course
spreading sales through stealth.
I am an atheist, but maybe some things in life happen for a reason. |

I've worked with plenty of lawyers (internships) and none of them are from t14s. I think its best to go straight from undergrad rather than transfer because the acceptance percentages are so much lower. :nono: |
Re: Are you a Part/Full-Time eBay seller? I've wanted to become a lawyer since the 3rd grade, but I chose the engineering route. After doing my research, I found out how hard it is to establish a successful practice or obtaining a career at a law firm. Maybe that's just in my state, almost every university here offers it. I got my BS in Petro Engineering, couldn't be happier! Lol well.... maybe if I didn't have 80k in student loans.. >_>.. |

| Dmshark25 | 01-09-2014 10:46 PM | Re: Are you a Part/Full-Time eBay seller? Just started it took from jan 2013 to October and gradually I went from full time to part time to spare tire than just couldn't do both and was comfortable enough to cut the safety net and become a full time stealther, but I work round the clock 15 hour days , so i been at 40 hours for a lot longer than October with eBay just nervous to go solo but now all is well I'm also on other sites and projects, and amazon has started being extremely profitable I have just my original account all at 100% and just need more time to focus but the little time I had has yielded nice profit for the year and very fast sales with little to no customer interaction which is a huge relief from eBay where u need to hold hands from beginning to end to after. Also was able to charge average $10 more per item, so I think my new year resolution is to add ghost |

| Dmshark25 | 01-10-2014 09:53 AM | Re: Are you a Part/Full-Time eBay seller? Yea I love stealth profited 46k in the last 3 months alone, best job I ever had ; ) |
| Veritasubique | 01-10-2014 11:34 AM | Re: Are you a Part/Full-Time eBay seller? Getting Banned from eBay was the best thing that ever happened to us. We were selling nicely on several linked eBay accounts. Got a couple of bad DSRs due to products being lost through Parcel Monkey and their cohorts Hermes, which resulted in a ban in October:)
Bought the eBay Stealth book - studied it - set up stealth accounts that are taking time to build. In the meantime set up on Amazon in November and WOW what a difference to eBay :)
Amazon has got it right and has already surpassed what we ever achieved on eBay. Now going FBA and international - could not be happier. Thank you eBay!!! No more nervous mornings wondering if we still have a viable eBay business - eBay is no more than a game for us now - our real business is on Amazon
We have also been listing on eBid - over 100 products listed since November, products that all sold well on eBay - not a single nibble on eBid - lots of watchers and views but not a single sale. Thankfully we took the life time free listing option so no costs. eBid tend to overstate their buyer base, it seems to be non-existent compared to Amazon and eBay.
As to the eBay Stealth Book - great product - lots of relevant info and one in the eye for eBay - We highly recommend the book.
Take care all..... |

From July straight through December was crazy, lots of hours when everyone is sleeping I'm packaging and on the computer when everyone is awake I'm still online and packaging , and I slept ten minutes here and there, went two days straight 3 hour sleep than 2 day 3 hour and on and on, tons of work but lots of fun , it's nice to not need to worry about money and worth all the sleepless nights, |
| Sandy D | 01-11-2014 12:51 AM | Re: Are you a Part/Full-Time eBay seller? I know that feeling very well!!
Many nights with 2-3 hours and off to take kids to school.
That is what irritates me when someone tells me they do not want to put in no more then 30 min a day of learning stealth because they have other things to do. |

Some people can operate on 2-4 hours of sleep and some cannot.
You cannot let it stress you. If it does then you are not enjoying it at all and need to find something else to do.
I would rather work then sit in front of the TV for countless hours. Something I wont waste my time doing is sitting in front of a TV for hours.
Its 1:30 am here and the DH just got home a while ago from traveling. We are ready for the Wii family games at 1:30 am. Time to kick some butt. |

Im also a urm and transfer acceptance actually increases for us. |
| yankee | 01-12-2014 01:37 PM | Re: Are you a Part/Full-Time eBay seller? I have been a full time ebayer for the past decade. We average 100k a month in gross sales every month for the first three quarters in 2013. A personal issue came up, I decided to take three months off, ENDED all listings and turned on the vacation settings. Ebay did NOT like this at all and I got indefinitely suspended for reason not quite understandable. I still sell wholesale to many other ebay sellers and just now opening several EIN ebay accounts to make sure something like that can never happen again. Ebay will reinestate our account if I supply layoff slips. We hire companies and VAs to ship items and process orders, not 300 employees. It will be a challenge to rebuild with such insane selling limits, but in the long run it is a great learning experience. :) |

Taxes is another entire issue. Virtually everyone who has a business will see great tax benefits compared to a w2 earned income earner. |
