Changing IP REMOTELY....??????

I recently purchased an IPad mini, and love it for stealth , I been using a PC with different user accounts and my iPhone was like my tool for stealth, I use many apps that make managing multiple accounts seem like one, I would be lost without the iPhone, I have apps from storing information on each account password user IDs name address and so on to my banking apps that combine all my financing others that showmy IP and log my IP automatically and then the most important the mail center which combines every inbox for every email so any action that I have to do for eBay I know in real time with my email. Plus many other apps I use just in creating my accounts from phone numbers to other information so my iPhone is an integral part now with the iPad it makes easier to logon with all my tools all in one.

Okay enough of the preamble now to the topic. I just discovered an app called logmein. I'm sure others use it and it is the best remote app ever you can control multiple computers remotely from your mobile device. Which makes operating accounts even better because now I can use my iPad to login I can switch user accounts and login to my stealth account. And I can even print out my postage and print it out on a printer to a remote location or print and Have it sitting ready at home.

Now my question, I was wondering is it possible to change your IP remotely rather remotely reset the modem and router remote I figured out how to reset my router has anybody figured out how to remotely reset your modem. I was thinking possibly of router modem, combo I don't have one but was wondering if there's an app to control the modem router like there is for some of the new routers and possibly be able to reset both from a remote location and pick up a new IP

logmein is like teamviewer very similar, anyways to answer your question if one of the parties loses internet connection you are automatically disconnected.

Yes which means that you can't do anything. Once you reset the modem, the computer connection is cut

Logmein is an app that runs in the backround, does not matter about IP. Although it might take a second or two for the logmein servers to update your new IP.

Not sure I follow you about changing an ip. Rebooting a modem is not a sure fire way to get a new IP. Changing the NIC's mac address would do it.

Yes, I have used logmein while I'm in my classes. Lol, should be taking notes, but that's what ms one note is for. Anyways, ip does change. Sometimes Internet connection from home gets knocked out though, and once that is done, you can't login. I have Comcast, and that's just how it is for some strange reason. After my Internet goes down, I have to unplug the modem and then reset the router from the browser. The percentages is pretty high with respect to Internet going down. U need some1 at home to reset for u. At least that's my experience.
