The 1099k thing is just the US government trying to get more people to pay their taxes. Simply way around that is to get an EIN. I dont see anything wrong with that. People still have to declare their income and taxes if not face the wrath of the IRS in the US.
I still sell my stuff. I dont thing ebay will get much harder in the future unless they start new ways to track people or computers. | Problem is you get one EIN in your name. If that gets burned somehow you have to file a LLC or go through all the hurdles of starting a corporation. I hate ignorant responses like yours.
Even someone like myself who does run an EIN account. My ability to sell on my backup accounts my stealths has been severely restricted. I imagine anyone who sells low priced items has essentially been cutoff from the stealth world. If you are selling $5-10 items and can only sell close to 200 items before your account is blocked by PayPal. That is a serious roadblock. If you are selling higher priced higher margin items you can get around it I agree.
Not to mention all the MC999 and every other thing that is required to get an account off the ground that was not necessary in years past. |
