Avoiding Double Payment on EBay Fees
 

Evening everyone.

I have just paid off a Fee balance on an EBay account with an Entropay card.

The invoice date for this particular account was 31/01.
The invoice is currently "in progress". In other words just being processed.
The default payment method is Paypal. However I always pay the balance off first with Entropay.

However I received a message tonight when I was about to pay suggesting there may be a "double payment". It also said the automatic payment is Credit Card, when in fact it is actually Paypal! I believe this must be a glitch.

I have never seen this before, my understanding from the link below there has to be a 10 day gap between invoice and payment by Paypal.

Can anyone clarify this, as obviously the last thing I want is a double payment!

And by the way, there is also a glitch regarding payment emails from Paypal at the moment. There is a thread on the UK Powerseller board about them not arriving so keep alert.

I have often been double charged by ebay if I do not pay BEFORE the invoice at the 1st of the month. Because that initiates (for me at least) the auto fee collector. Gets annoying as then you account balance will be -$100.. ;)

If you try to make a payment and a eBay message comes up and says if you make payment you might get charge twice than its too late if you go ahead and make a payment you probably will get charge twice and that payment wont come off your balance till next invoice

So my payment timing may cause me to incur more eBay fees ?
