Shipping to home address
 

After I made an Ebay purchase with a stealth account... Is it risky to contact the seller (via email) and ask them to ship to a my home address (which is now associated with a banned account? )

Yes....If you want to buy items you should make an account with an address you have access too. If you need to you can rent a P.O. Box.

I used to do that with chinese sellers,when I was buying a few things for feedback and they were good with it, saying it was a gift, for very small items, but I stopped as too risky.....

there are a few tricks to getting stuff rerouted or picked up from post depot...

Better avoid it.

Although, some buyers have asked me to ship to a different address than their registration, and that's risky as well, because you won't have seller protection if the buyer claims the item is not received.

If you don't have an access to the address, you can find sellers in your area
that accept local pick up, but I was advised not to do it too often.

As others have said get a mail box which offers you a "street" address.

In the EU we have this stupid law that says yu have to list your "physical" address you trade from. Like those of us who trade from home are going to put that on the internet! Yeah, right.

I use a virtual office address in another city. That address goes on all my correspondance. Anything lands there they mail it to me.
