Is ebay to expensive to sell on?

can you compete and make any money on Ebay or is it to expensive to sell with the fees, taxes, and shipping. Seems there friendly to the buyer than the sellers.

new seller on Ebay. I sell ever where else.

need your advice please.

They are not cheap and they take a chunk of your money even a fee off shipping, then paypal fees.

VERY buyer biased.

But if you know how to operate and what to sell, you might just do ok.
