Free gift - risky?

I attempted to list an genuine item but because of Intellectual Property, it got taken down. Basically, this particular brand do not want it on eBay. I have absolutely no use or interest in it so would prefer to sell it.

How risky would it be to list an item as normal but include the branded item as a "free gift"? I wouldn't say what it is in the description, instead I would ask buyers to message me if they want to know.

Would eBay frown upon that? Once I inform the buyer via PM what the free gift is, it could bump up the price of the auction. But I wouldn't be doing it for that purpose, I simply just want to get rid of it. I would list it on its own if I could!

Would I be asking for trouble?

How comfortable are you with eBay permanently limiting your account?

eBay will not like this.

If you want to sell it find a different way to sell it.

Anything that is seen as circumventing the system will get your banned VERY fast.

THis is an old trick that was used and eBay has caught on to it a long time ago.

So don't do it.

Then sell it on another platofrm other than ebay.

Or commit hari kari with your account.

Flawed plan

Try selling whatever it is on gumtree or facebook selling pages.

Facebook is your best bet, type in your city in the search bar then buy sell swap. a list of groups should appear. Stuff sells really well on them, its especially good for bulky items you can not post cheaply such as furniture.
