Recovering after losing TRS and getting over low DSRs

My shipping DSR went down thanks to USPS not doing their jobs so now i no longer have top rated status and now my listings are not on the first page (i can't even find the page they're on).

So my question is how do i get my listings back to the first page without top rated status?

Lower prices, faster and cheaper postage methods, experimenting, putting the relevant info in the listing to help people find you listing, more pictures, list goes on and on.

Best way to see what works best is to try something and see what effect it has.

Re-examine your shipping policies.

Look at free shipping for a while ( if possible) to counteract the hassles.

Make sure you keep on top of everything.

I already do offer free shipping and my prices are almost to Lowest.

My shipping DSR went down to 4.8 which caused me to lose my top rated status. I have been trying to get it to 4.9 for the past week but had no luck. So far i have obtained 5 positive feedback (i mean this past week) and it didn't do anything to my shipping DSR....how much feedback would i need to get to get it back to 4.9?

Its not all about much feedback you need to get it higher or lower. Its all averaged out in the end. If you averages end up higher than 4.9, will you get a higher score.

Well then it does matter about feedback because in order to get a higher average i need more people to choose the ratings. If i get another 100 feedback and they all give me 5.0/5.0 then my shipping DSR will go up.

if you know who gave you a low rating, if you try and get that removed or revised it may be an option

No one here can tell you how many 5 star scores it will take. We don't know what your feedback currently is!

183 positive feedback, 0 negative, 2 neutral,
5 ratings in everything except for shipping. I got 4 low shipping ratings and that's what brought it to 4.8.

Ah well it is not the average which is making you under perform, its the amount of lows. 3 is the max and you have 4! If I was you i'd try ringing customer service and get thwm to remove a low.

when do the oldest 2 drop off? (they stop being counted after a year)

If its soon you may be ok as theres a grace period.

Well the problem is i don't know who gave the low ratings so i couldn't tell you if it was a month ago, 6 months ago, etc...i actually was considering calling up ebay and asking them to remove it but if i don't know who did the low ratings then i won't be able to tell them which feedback needs to be removed.

Even if you knew, they are still very secretive about DSR ratings, they want to keep them anonymous

They would just ask what feedback you wanted to challenge and if it was overturned and removed , if it was one with a low DSR than that would be removed

But than again it depends on what rep you get on the phone, everyone is different, sometimes I just keep hanging up and calling back until I get someone that is willing to do what I need

You are not 'allowed' to know who left low stars. If you tell customer service who left it then you're breaking ebay policy and can get in to more trouble.

You can ask the cs rep to look in to your dsrs. See when they drop off. Perhaps say you're concerned you have been left a malicious dsr can you help.
