Strange Issue when clicking on View Purchase History
 

I was looking up a customer name and address on eBay. I entered the item number into search and it came up. The item is closed with multiple buyers. I clicked on "View Purchase History" to be able to get the address of my buyer.

The strange thing is, the moment I clicked on the "View Purchase History" link, a screen popped up for a micro-second that was in red with an exclamation point at the top. I couldn't read anything it said.

My GUESS is this may just be a bypass of a warning that the item is closed, but I know too much about eBay to dismiss it at that.

Has anyone else noticed this or something similar?

What browser are you using? Firefox has a pop-up blocker and if enabled it should have to ask you to allow a window to open... this doesn't stop the picture uploader from opening though, so it may consider ebay safe by default because of certificates.

You could try keylogging yourself. It will log the full address of any window, pop-up/under, even if for a split second.
