Re: I sold almost 300 items and get 2 cases
First of all, the ratio of cases is not bad at 2 out of 300 sales. Like GB pointed out, eBay wants to see that you are communicating with the buyer and solving the issue. That is ALWAYS the smart thing to do.
At the moment, only UNRESOLVED cases officially count against you. But as Just-Smile pointed out, when the new system comes into play this August, EVERY opened case will count against you. eBay is on the warpath for any transactions that do not go 100% smoothly. You seem to be on the right track here, so I don't think you should have anything to worry about.
Lastly, the type of cases will also matter. The worst ones to have are "Item Not as Described". eBay wants buyers to have confidence when buying on eBay and nothing turns a buyer off faster than getting an item that is not what they expected it to be.
Moving forward, you should be EXTRA CAREFUL to note any defects in your listing and also not to overstate the capabilities and features of your items. This change will also be hard on sellers of counterfeit goods, because the WORST possible case you can have is an "Item Not as Described" case where the buyer is claiming the goods are counterfeit.
