Need Selling Tips Please (Newbie Here)
 

Hi guys, this is my first post. This seems like a comfortable place to ask for advice. :) So I am really excited because I just went to a hockey autograph session and got 3 pucks signed by Hayley Wickenheiser (same product).

My question is, should I list all 3 pucks in one listing or list them one at a time? I am wondering if there is a cost difference for me. I know Ebay gives 50 free listings a month and there is NO way I would go over 50 so is there still a cost difference for me?

And from a marketing standpoint, which way is better? As far as the search function shows, there is nobody else selling Wickenheiser's autographed pucks but then again I am competing with people who are selling her OTHER autographed items (mostly photos and hockey cards). And I don't know if you'll consider those selling male hockey players' autographs my competitors.

So how should I list my products? Thanks in advance!

1. List one and see what the market is like.

Is your account COMPLETELY new? Never sold before?

As for listing exactly, that's for you to research and see how to compete well - provide info and images - be clear - sell it on eb.com :)

If you have never sold on your eBay account before I would spend a bit of time building up selling history first.

hockey autos are slow, I know.... build the account up first and slowly sell them one at a time.

never do all at once, and wait til the playoffs :)

Yea, I would build up some selling history before listing. Autographed items are usually considered a high risk items. Especially when it is a ball (puck in this case), jersey, helmet, etc.
