for the quanitity of items, how many is the maximum you can list without getting suspicious by ebay?

There are a lot of variables built into that question.
Brand new account with 0 feedback - 1
10 year old account with 100+ feedback - MANY, MANY, MANY

It also depends on the value of the items, and that is probably the most important factor.

You can probably list five cheap items on a new account without suspension. The higher the price, the less you should list.
