Receiving funds from an unexist listing.
 

Hello everyone,

I received $270.xx in my paypal account a few days ago. The problem was i couldnt find what it's for at beginning, cuz none of my listings were worth $270.xx and there was even no sales record from my ebay account. It was just unidentified payment.

Later on, i figured out the payment was for the item that I listed about 2 month ago and the description on payment was exctally the same as my item's title that listed on ebay, this guy purchased the item once. However, the listing ended after I sold everything out. I am happy with receiving funds, but i dont know how the customer make payment or purchase from me if the listing is no longer available for about 2 month. It's really werid for me. Anyone had the same situation before?

Was it an Auction or BIN?

It's under BIN. I total listed 30 items avaialble for sale, this guy was one of the buyer. After all 30 items sold, the listing was ended and i never relisted it.

Weird, might want to contact the buyer about it, I take it you don't have the item anymore?

Yes, i did send an email to him, no replys at all. The phone# was also not a valid#. His shipping address is at Laredo, TX where is really close to Mexico.

I waited about 3 days and then shiped the item out with FedEx signature service. It's signed and no complains or problems so far.

I just dont get how did he purchase the item from me and make the transaction smooth without ebay???

It does seem kind of weird. Just out of curiosity....was the item part of "multiples" of the same item?
