crazy sales and high ranking all of a sudden??
 

don't know what's gone on with my sales today but something's took them to a whole new level, I've been averaging 10 sales a day at best and only a few days ago was getting 6-7 and I was considering reducing my prices abit, but today from nowhere I've made 46 sales and there's still 4 hours of the day to go,

When my account hit trs 2 months ago I was expecting a high increase in sales but didn't see a lot of a change to be honest, and as I do gtc listings I started price very low and as as they got higher in best match I raised price and I felt the benifit in sales more by doing that than when I reached trs. But today I've checked my best match ranking and out of over 1 million listings in that catagory one of my listings is at 27th place,

Could the trs affect of kicked in late? or is it due to me maintaining a good DSR since I became trs, I've made 760 sales in total and still got my 100% feedback and not had one low rating, this is the first time I've had a trs account so it's all new to me,

oh and i noticed 2 Chinese sellers who we're allways above me are no longer trs and that's moved me above them, maybe this has helped but I'm confused at my all of a sudden high ranking.

Best match system is all over the shop due to "a tech issue" at EB since late PM last night, see my thread below.

I have noticed a reduction in sales the last few days & that seems to be typical. This weekend should tell the story. Good luck.

Wow, that is interesting. I am at the other end I was making lots of sales and even though I still have 100% feedback I am getting no sales. This account is still growing. I don't understand what happened. I have not changed anything.

Nice though on the increase in sales.

Just wish I can figure what happened with my account.

This weekend has been insane for me also. How did you achieve TRS by the way? How long did it take you?

I went through this in January. My sales went crazy. I got swamped then my shipping times went down in DSR scores.

I am pretty much opposite also. I was killing it in March, but now it's like everyone wants to go outside and not go on EB.

I have seen an increase in sales sinceI got TRS a couple of weeks ago. Nothing as good as what you ares eeing but better.

Ebay does seem to be a little stange lately.

Weekends have always been the busiest days, especially sundays. However, the last 2 weekends iv sold hardly anything. Weekdays are better than ever.

Enjoyed it while I could but it only lasted 48 hours and then my listings went back to there original positions in best match and sales back to normal, like @weelkeelham said it was a technical issue with eBays best match system, the fact I got 7x my usually daily sales in the end just showes how powerful a high ranking in best match can be, working hard now to get them back in them positions without the help from eBay

By keeping a good DSR and meeting all the requirements to qualify for it, it took me 5 months,

Bravo :) fair play to achieving in 5 months. It's my goal but after reading I don't think
I can qualify anyway due to differences in shipping. Amazing how the best match ranking can cause such an increase in sales, you can do it, get to the top! :).
