Help, shipping to the Philippines - antique furniture

Hello all, a lady has asked I ship a dining suite worth £500 - 900 max to the Philippines. She's happy to pay via bank transfer but it worries me as the shipping will likely cost double the cost of the item. Could this be genuine? Help :(

1. You should call up and speak to this lady.

2. Is she going to pay for ALL the shipping and insurance?

3. Bank transfer is good - means the money is there.

4. If (after all these questions are answered) you have doubts...don't sell to her - simple solution.

Best of luck

Before talking to the buyer, get an idea of shipping costs first.

Go into any conversations, prepared to keep control of the sale.

Dont forget that last drop kick who gave you issues.

This is an item going thousands of miles away....

Another point is to reconsider who or where you ship especially if the items are large.

Good Luck

Another slight risk with a bank transfer is going to be the funding source.

Make sure you check with your own bank if chargebacks can happen.

Read that carefully....VERY carefully.

She wouldn't let me speak to her on the phone, and then started to demand to pay by paypal. So I cancelled her bids and blocked. Can't be bothered with the hassle. Thanks guys!!!! :)

Block all internationals from now as well.

You do not need the hassles.

Good Luck

Thanks green bean and rsot. You are a legend amongst mere men. Can I do this so that anyone internationally can't contact me or is it just a case of checking profile and blocking on bidding? :)
