Ebay account under Sole Proprietor Question
 

Hey guys,

So I have a business that I run as a sole proprietor and was looking to make an Ebay/Paypal account using it. Currently my Ebay account is banned using my real information.

My question is, if I were to create these, and call to have a limit increase, will I get banned because my account is banned under my name? I plan to sign both up using the businesses info, but will I be banned since I'm the owner? Or could I call saying I'm representing the business.

Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

You really should not be ringing eBay to ask for increases.

If you use your real info when signing up to eBay or PayPal at any point then they will be able to link you which may lead to your account being banned. Have you got and read the stealth guide?

I've purchased the Amazon book, but I understand how the ebay method works. I was just hoping I could treat this new account as a legit account with verified information so I could call and ask for increases when my sales go over the limit. I plan on providing my EIN number, and using all my real business information. If I were to use a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, would that matter? Or are they able to see who owns "ABC Co."?

I'm just confused whether on whether or not they need to ask those identity questions on business accounts

Dont call - make more stealth accounts if you need to sell more volume - let the increase come naturally.
