MarketWorks check out or Any other... Can I check out w/Real Address?
 

Alright guys, great board, i thought i was doomed as i've used most of my families accounts/info and today i've opened my first account. I do need to buy some things so i've won my first auction. it has the Marketworks eCommerce Software Solutions | web site design development check out and I would like to in a check out use my real information so the item could be shipped here. Also payment would be made with a credit card not through paypal, just through their check out site. Will this address/info update somehow on ebay with my real address? And will it show on ebay where item was shipped? i don't wanna get linked.

I know this post is over a year old but I wanted to post an answer since I use Marketworks.


My store is thru Marketworks and I launch my items to eBay thru Marketworks. You will not be linked when going thru a Marketworks/ChannelAdvisior checkout.

If the merchant accepts credit cards you can enter your correct info to make your purchase and it will NOT tip eBay off in anyway. The only info that is sent to eBay is that you paid...nothing else.

BUT BEWARE! If you try to checkout using a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ credit card you will be caught. Marketworks has a very good system in place for fraud orders.
