eBay the reason for a failing US Economy?? Hmmm
 

Does anyone else think that eBay and other online auctions and websites could be PARTIALLY responsible for a failing US economy? Think about it...who buys things retail anymore? Why...when you can buy online or on eBay for a fraction of the price. Me personally, I always look at prices on eBay before I walk into any store on almost everything. The only time I buy in a retail store is when its something expensive and I want a warranty or service plan, which I can get on ebay as well. But for everything else, I will buy on eBay.

I don't know, just thought I would spark a friendly debate/discussion. :)

Where is the slow economy?? My sales are UP this month by about 4000 dollars

Na i belive its gas prices heck i know its gas prices people has to pay so much for gas they have no money to buy other stuff there for putting retailers out of bussiness.
And ebay is not always the checkest place to shop when i buy something i will look all around first to see where its the cheapest and good quality.

What industry are you in ? I am in the automotive and the Economy SUCKS!!

By the way I take offense to the where is the slow economy comment.

We just lost our investment banking sector!! and now we need to print 700 Billion USD.

Inflation, Higher interest rates, Dollar decline.. The end of the American Era?
