Open cases affect best match search results?
 

Ok, got a couple of not described cases against me at the moment. Agreed to refund once it comes back. Listed a 24 hour auction, normally it's in the second page. Now it's second to last page. Anyone else experience this? Will this continue once the cases get refunded? Does it reset at the end of the month or does it remain? This is a good 100/5000 acct. 100% 34 feedback. Will best match search results go back to normal once all cases are resolved? Thx.

Since you have such a low number of feedback. It is likely that opened cases could affect your best match results. eBay may deny it but it seems very logical especially regarding Not as Described.

Yea, a bit unfair. Oh well, we'll see what happens. I had the same thing with a other acct, open case, search result is all the way in the back. Sold my last item 3 weeks ago on that acct, was thinking of abandoning it. But now I get emails from eBay asking me to sell, so I'll list again to see if they put me all the way in the back again. When I mean back, it's all the way in the back, even when there's 2 minutes left in an auction!

Dont forget that your competition may have always revamped their listings for better search status

Nope, you will have to fight to get back on top of the listings.

These open cases are causing you to lose ground.
