Linked Account through Auctiva?
 

I read another thread about this, but wanted to be sure before I abandon this account or take the time to call eBay -

I tried to create a new token on my Auctiva account which currently has a token for a suspended account on it. As soon as I did I got this message:

Call us at 1-866-643-1607 and mention security code 17777499016. This is not the same confirmation code to confirm your account.

If you use an IP Relay service, you can use the same number.


I am not sure if it is because I use an IP scrambler, although my current IP was set to my state.

I ignored it and just decided to go and do my listing in eBay. When I tried to hit list item after creating the listing the same message popped up. I called eBay but the wait time is over an hour and chat isn't available, so I thought I would check to see if its even worth my time which it won't be if these accounts are suddenly linked. Thanks.

What is an IP scrambler?

Are you just use using a VPN or a proxy? Or even TOR?

Sorry - I couldn't think of the words last night. Yes I am using a VPN.

But it is a new IP address and new computer - never logged into the suspended account with either of these.

If Auctiva was to link accounts, I would be a dead meat.

VPN should be the problem.

GoteBay - Thank you. I am assuming that you just go to your eBay page on Auctiva and even though it shows your suspended or other accounts you just hit the Add Token, right?

I will give a call then and cross my fingers that I don't get caught.

You need to make sure the IP address is clean when generating a new token for Auctiva.

Correct, you need to generate the token for an IP address that is related to that particular eBay account.
