International Selling - can it be successful?

Hi all,

I am a UK expat currently living in France and I have a question about international selling and how successful it can be....

I have a UK eBay account - limited somewhat in terms of amounts I can sell per month.

So I also have a french eBay account - 9 months old, 50+ feedback, international selling fully enabled, about 30 sales overall, can list as much as I want on UK eBay etc.

Now, I sell the same thing on both of those accounts on the UK eBay but the French account doesn't get anywhere near the sales or the exposure, views etc.

I am thinking that the French account is probably seen as less trustworthy by eBay and it's listings are therefore not as high in rankings.

Can anyone shed any light on this? What can I do to improve my French account's standings? Sell more until it's 'trustworthy'?
