Harrassing ebay buyer going around reporting ???
 

How many complaints does it take to take down a buyer who is reporting my auctions just because he doesn't like them. I have positive feedback and no issues. I already called ebay and they did nothing. How many reports does it take to take this buyer down and have his account closed for being a pathetic human being who has nothing to do, but patrol the skies with his own imagination. It's pathetic how some people don't have anything else better to do.

Depends on their account.

If they have 0 feedback and are selling VERO items, very little.

If they have 1,000,000 feedback and are selling tea towels, a lot more.

They got 160 feedback only buying. Never sells. Probably 100 reports from different accounts will get him suspended right?

Block them from buying and keep going, you have no control over this. Unfortunately, they have exposed your account to human scrutiny.

Just block them.

You can report them, but very very unlikely anything will come of it if they are just a buyer.

If the Buyer is simply reporting your auctions to Ebay because they seem suspicious to him as a BUYER for whatever reason, then there is nothing that you can do. From Ebays point of view,,,he may be be helping them "Police" the site, you need to figure out if it is your account specifically that the buyer is upset with, or if he just simply thinks he is a Police officer.

If he only is after you, simply stop selling on that account and move on to another, you may also try to contact him directly and ask him what is up his a$$ about your listing, who knows, he may tell you, or stop doing it simply because you were able to catch him, maybe you can threaten to call "Your Rep in Seller Support",,other than that, you cannot do much,,If he was also a seller, then you would have had better options to deal with this issue.

He laughed at my threats and he said he is a internet fraud agent and knows alot. He has taken down all my auctions down over time even over multiple accounts with different everything. He thinks he is a police officer.

If your stuff is legit, report him to ebay...malicious reporting is against their rules...I went thru the same thing and it took 4 months, but I had it stopped. If your stuff will not stand up to scrutiny, then forget what I just said.

Are you sure this buyer isn't a competitor? What else would truly motivate someone to target auctions of a particular product.

I have the same issue and blocking doesn't do **** because they are not going to buy. What worked for me was just accepting it and as soon as I see a message from him I now delete it immediately without reading 1 word and just forget it and move on. I don't have to like it but it's all part of acceptance. I have my peace. Good luck and best wishes for peace.

I don't know recently this month of april he has started bothering me. He is probably going around policing other people also.

It's 99.9 % a competitor. From experience I know that for sure. Buyers love buying. That's all they think about. Sellers are jealous thinking they can stop anyone.
Eventually they get bored with making accts to stop others instead of making money with their wasted time!

Agreed, it is a competitor. I had a really rough April with a few competitors too. Nearly wiped out our whole category but I'm starting to get back on my feet.

I have a friend who is offering his gigs on fiverr. He told me he is constantly being approached by random eBay sellers asking him to create an automated script that could report other sellers on eBay. He already refused on multiple occasions.

Any eBay seller reporting another seller in ordered eliminate their competition is:

1. Loser.
2. Not a real businessperson.
3. Loser.
4. Loser.
5. Loser.

The key is have a multitude of accts. The competitor/s realize that they can't stop you. Because you keep coming back...that day! Sometimes I find my best items to sell from analyzing my competitors stuff...fools!!

I haven't even read the topic of the thread, your post just caught my eye, that is one thing that gets me so aggregated Is when another seller leaves a negative or reports another seller

It's just wrong and it feels like a betrayal, there is a silent code that should be abided by, ( at least what I believe in) and if sellers can't stick together and at the bare minimal just have respect to let another seller go about there business than to me it's like the Wild West

There is enough business to go around for,everyone, for someone to spend there time trying to get other sellers suspended instead of making there business better is pathetic.

I faced this problem several times and I tried to fight back but it is useless as ebay will do nothing to help me until now so I think just keep creating and moving to pass those losers.

I believe that is what happened to me. Ever since my product was taken down, I haven't had one issue. I'm still getting positive feed backs from sellers, two weeks later.
I agree with everyone else: Spread your listings (wish I would have, but will now) and block/ignore them.
