With ebays new 3 star dsrs being a low DSR and feedbacks not left assumed as all high dsr feedbacks, You want as little feedback as possible unless you are just starting out. There is no longer a reason to leave feedback. You don't want it and you no longer need it.

Can anyone offer any further insight on if I'm right?. Thanks.

Your probley correct iv always found with my accounts no feedback is good feedback anyway!

It's a double edged sword...you need the feedback as that is clearly how they are calculating the best match as studied by a forum member in a previous post, however, the more feedback you have the more chance of a low DSR... from August there is going to be the need for tonnes of accounts running

For the most part I have taken to practice the art of only leaving feedback for those who have first left it for me. Otherwise, usually when bored on a weekend will go through the older transactions. Just glimpse at the persons feedback left for others; if they don't leave feedback for other or haven't in a long time I will leave them feedback. If they look like they complain alot, have left multiple negatives I just allow it to time out.

Very interesting though. That feedback not left will begin to count as full DSRs. I must have missed that somewhere in their messages.

The only problematic issue. Could be your feedback percentage going in the gutter if you get a negative and don't have enough positives to keep it afloat.

I forgot about best match hrmm. Maybe it's best not to lead feedback if your account is in trouble.

Because of the spring update lol. I always used cases to settle returns. And now ebay is penalizing what I did before when it wasnt use to be a bad thing. now I have 13 defects and 205 transactions. Regardless tho. Spring update will be hell in general.

I agree with you and unfortunately it does. I have several 07,08,09 stealth accounts with that kind of feedback. Before the 200/20k pp limits. But yet they are all treated the same it really sucks and goes to show you how eBay has no regard for longevity on the site.

No new has always been good new to ebay. DSR are based on transactions and always have been. One of my best sellers is top rated and only has a 98.5% feedback. He might get 200-300 feedback a month but sells thousands of items. Feedback score itself is irrelevant with volume of transactions.
