Feedback revisions don't remove buyer defects!!. What's the point anymore.
 

Does it just take ebay time to make the removal stick or are defect permanent for the year or forever?. I'm confused. Thanks.

Good question. As of now you are just seeing a preview of how your metrics will be if it were Aug 20 , so maybe since it's not actually in effect the defect wasn't removed because it really isn't there yet

But even with the system now updates do take at least 24 hours

A defect has updated itself and it went up when I got one a few days ago from a feedback. Shouldn't it have also gone down when removed is what I'm thinking. Ebay sucks.

How long ago was the removal? Usually with other similar instances the dashboard may take a couple days to update

revisions do remove DSR, if the buyer decides to change it at the time of revision...ive had several removed this way

feedback revisions don't drop off defects. it says it in the policy. it's hillarious trolling that jeff guy on the ebay forums. he's such a moron

I will say it does suck. But if it is a stealth account or any kind of account. You definitely don't want to be gambling with the feedback percentage dropping.

I will have to wait and see how this defect rate works. I will say I had a buyer open never received case. Then leave me feedback a week later. It finally close with no response and it still counts as defect against me.

All I can say it this defect stuff or not. Having negative feedback on record is never advisable.

I can guarantee that it does remove DSR. The buyer as the option to revise his DSR when he revises your feedback. I have had countless low DSRs removed this way. It helped me maintain my TRS
