eBay basic questions
 

Hi all

Please bear with me as I am not familiar with eBay.

Can ŵe have 2 or more accounts on eBay with one IP providing non of them have been banned? Do they allow more than one account?

For some reason, on my old personal eBay account, I cannot see my selling limits, which the advisor said it should be in there. But they looked further I am on the standard 10/£650. Just not show in the all selling page.

Selling limits can sometimes only appear when you start selling or when you hit the limits.

Do not use more than 1 eBay per IP.

Using the same IP overlapping accounts goes against fundamentals of stealth - avoid.

One of the great advantages of stealthing is to have different accounts completely unlinked one from the other and unlinked they shall remain.

Ebay doesn't allow that so, if for any reason they are linked, they will be banned.
The IPs have to be different like many other things that are mentioned in the Stealth Guide and in the forum.

I want to get into eBay slowly, as Amazon is giving me so much grief at the moment (I know they are all similar anyway) but I only have one person legit / real ebay account. And I am not sure if I want to turn that into a potential main business account? or set up a completely new one?

I do not remember reading ebay does not allow one IP has more than 1 account, unlike amazon. As it is very common that a household has more than 1 account (one for mum and one for girl / children etc)

I thought the IP issue is if I have a previous issue / banned from ebay thats all.

If you want to keep the EB accounts stealth an separate from one another then you cannot use the same IP.

If you use the same IP then if you have an issue with 1 account getting restricted all the other linked accounts may quickly follow.

Its easy and cheap to keep IP address separate so should be done.
