Stealth account get increased 300 / $7500
 

Hi guys, ***good news***

I haven't been on this great forum for a while. Just want to tell you guys that one of my stealth account get increased to 500 / $7500 today. This account was originally allowed to sell 100 / $5000, I had 83 transactions as of today, i decided to call in to see if eBay can give me a raise. After 20 mins wait on the line, a really nice rep picked up the phone and asked a few simple questions, then she increased my limit. Now this account is TRS plus 500 / $7500 and all my other stealth accounts have at least 100 / $5000. It's awesome, so i decided to share this story with you guys.

But be careful calling in to lift limits on the accounts. it can/will end badly.

Congrats! But yeah, I agree with Bunneh, never ever will I call eBay again. They are difficult to deal with anyways.

Good job but please don't ever call. If you sell up to your limit every month, you'll eventually get increase. If you can't wait, make more stealth :D on a side note one of my gem account got an increase to 9380 - $312,500 lol I don't even sell up to that much.

Happens with older accounts that are running smoothly.

The hard work needs to be done to get there.

Ricky..congrats....you just won at the game of ebay russian roulette.....Not to brag, but I am a pretty good talker, and I will never call in for a increase. Too much of a risk to an up and running account. Of course, an account was not stealth and had all legit info, well then, that's another story.....

Only call on a new account to get limits raised initially, I wouldn't risk it once account history is established

Stuff that only the person whos name is on the account would know...your mother in laws birthday, your uncles address, amount of your last car payment etc, etc.

I have called ebay many times. Agree with many, it is russian rulette depending on who you talk to, status of account, eb country

I had limit increased then account suspended an hour later.

I would rather do better things with my phone than call eBay.

I agree with the other posts. Never call eBay. Create a portfolio of accounts. Allow increases to generate from withing by good feedback, dsrs, etc.

Rinse and repeat on multiple accounts on how you are running them and let them rise on their own without risking the account.
