Newbie trying business acct.
 

Hi,
I have my own website and was going to attempt to open an ebay business acct. under it. Does anyone know if eBay or Paypal verifies the Address associated with the EIN (tax id) number? I rented a mailbox and changed the address on everything visible on the site but am afraid to give my EIN with the old linked address. If anyone knows, please advise!! Thanks so much!

have not used the EIN before. When I applied for the EIN I used my home address, which is linked to my suspended Ebay account. So my question was, if I give ebay/PP my EIN can they see the address associated with it? I did rent a mailbox in another state and changed my business address on my website to it. But the EIN # still has my original linked address. (It takes up to 8 weeks for that to change.) I think it is a mute point anyway, I went ahead and tried to open a paypal acct today using the business name and they wanted my SS# & DOB, not an EIN. They also asked for my bank acct. User ID and Log In, which I find just incredible. Is that even legal??? What company has the right to log into your bank acct???? I am just sitting here in disbelief..
