Is eBay cracking down on 3rd Party Apps?

I read on other forums that people have been getting accounts restricted indefinitely, lately when they attempt to add a token from Auctiva, pushauction, inkfrog, etc.?

eBay prompts you with a security error and ask you to call in with a code. Then a few minutes later you get an email saying they are restricting your account forever.

Anyone experiencing that? Is Auctiva linking somehow?

Lots of factors. How well established is the account. How many selling feedback etc. If you have Zero feedback log into Auctiva etc and create an account. Duh the will suspend you. The point of stealth is looking like a newbie who has never been on eBay. Never been suspended, etc. If you jump the gun you will out you as a PIG. Pigs get SLAUGHTERED and some cases Horses too!!!!!!!!:deadhorse:

Its not really advice. Just when you make a new stealth account. You have to be in the mindset. I am a newbie, who has never done anything on here before. Preferably buy a couple cheap things, browse for different items. Then like SandyD always talks about, list household low risk items to start and account. It truly is not rocket science. If you understand how stealth works, get a game plan together, and don't rock the boat by trying to go to hard to fast. You will be fine. If you have no patience and want push, push, push. eBay is going to shut you down in in a quick minute.

I personally have gotten this security code. I called in and they were just worried about signing in from different IP addresses I believe. He asked me if I was on a different device. After about a half hour on hold they fixed the problem. I can't say this will happen every time but that was my experience.

Any one else have anymore input?

I also have a couple more accounts with that problem so i will post after vacation how that goes on the phone with them.
